Every graduate deserves a first chance
We started Recruitment Specialists South Africa because we believe talent should never sit waiting. Behind every CV is a person with hopes, a family cheering them on, and so much to give.
Why we started
South Africa is full of bright, qualified and hard-working graduates. They have studied hard, often with their families sacrificing a great deal to make it possible. Yet so many of them finish their studies and then find themselves waiting, sending out application after application, hoping someone will give them a chance.
At the same time, businesses in the UK are looking for skilled, reliable people who genuinely care about their work. We looked at both sides and thought: these two should meet. So we decided to build the bridge ourselves.
What we do
We place recent South African graduates, from those who have just graduated to those who graduated within the last two years, into permanent, full-time, remote roles with UK employers. Our people work from home in South Africa, and we act as their employer of record for payroll.
The gap we saw
There is a gap between graduating and getting that first real job, and it is wider than it should be. Many employers ask for experience, but you can only gain experience if someone hires you first. Talented young people get stuck in that space, and their potential waits on the sidelines.
We know what a first job really means. It is more than a salary. It is confidence, independence and the start of a career. It can change the direction of a life, and often the life of a whole family. We wanted to help close that gap, one placement at a time.
